ACT NOW! Lockerbie Bomb Terrorist Compassionate Release Decision Today!

I posted a few days ago about the possibility of Lockerbie bomber getting released early (as in over 20 years early) on compassionate grounds because he has cancer.  SkyNews.com is reporting that a decision is expected on this case today.  Apparently his legal team thinks that the terrorist is suffering much distress in jail because of lack of privacy.  How much privacy did his victims have as they were sucked out of the plane, some of them losing their clothing as they fell?  How much privacy is he entitled to given the crime with which he is charged?  Lock him in solitary confinement until he dies if he wants privacy, but don’t “punish” him for the murder of over 270 people by allowing him to spend his last weeks with his loved ones!  Cancer or not, this man is a terrorist.

Here’s a link to the page at skynews.com if anyone cares to go and leave their opinions there - of course y’all are more than welcome to leave comments here, but I think that action is more likely with more public opinion comments on a wider news stage than I have at Opinionated News.

+++UPDATE+++

Breaking news at skynews.com is that the courts have denied the request.  On this occasion the legal system did the right thing.   The skynews link above takes you to a page where you can see a video of the statement released regarding the decision.
